DESCRIPTION : The brake arms are precision ground and then CNC machinedinto a light weight, but more importantly strong and reliable form. The cableenters the brake through a curved noodle with a Teflon lining forreduced friction. These pivots are pre-greased for smooth action and sealedto keep them that way. Abrake collar fits around each cylindrical arms and holds the Kool-Stopbrake pads in place, while allowing them to be finely tuned for heightand toe-in. A stainless steel bushing mates the brake to the frame's brakeposts and provides a larger bearing surface with a tightly controlledtolerance. Thanks to the switchable brake arms the cable can berouted into the brake from the left or right. Specially wound square springs offer a snappyreturn and are easily adjusted and balanced. The quick-releasemechanism is simple but reliable, allowing you to easily open up thebrake when you need to, but never rattling open on its own.
